
Introducing Piohni's Creamy Hojicha
HOJICHA LATTE
Meet Matcha’s little brother — Hojicha. Low caffeine (so you can enjoy in the evening too), roasted for a rich, toasty sweetness, and the perfect coffee alternative. Smooth, creamy, and soothing.
INGREDIENTS
3 g Piohni Hojicha Powder (4g for iced Hojicha Latte)
30 ml water (65℃ or 149ºF)
1tsp sugar or maple syrup (optional but recommended)
Milk (we love oat barista)
DIRECTION
1. Blend Piohni's Hojicha Powder with with water.
2. Infuse the hojicia into the water and mix until foamy and smooth. We recommend using a bamboo whisk for no clumps.
3. Add 1 tsp of brown sugar or sweetener into the hojciha and mix (optional)
4. Add your hojicha into a cup. Steam or heat up your favorite milk and pour into the cup. For iced version; add ice and milk to a tall glass and pour the hojicha on top.
5. Take a moment and stir your hojicha latte and voila.

Piohni's 100% Japanese Hojicha Powder. Toasty, smooth with low caffeeine. Especially loved by those new to matcha for its mellow and approachable taste.
Origin: Kagoshima, Japan
Tea type: Roasted Japanese green tea powder. Carefully slow-roasted in a porcelain pot over hot charcoal giving its deep toasty notes.
Taste: Toasty, sweetly gentle with cocoa and deep caramel.
